Grandma’s Birthday!!

We had such a fun night celebrating Grandma’s birthday on Wednesday.  We went out for dinner, then had cake and presents.

More baby fun!  She will be so entertained when we have another baby…

We love you Grandma, for being such a wonderful mom and grandma, and for taking such good care of us all.  Happy Birthday!!

A glimpse into our future

Katie babysits a little 4-month-old baby girl while her mom works, so we’re having a good time watching how Makenna acts around her, especially when I’m holding the baby.  Laura was documenting our latest encounter…  😉

 …then she decided it was her turn to hold the baby.  I love our expressions.

 After I explained that the baby couldn’t fit in her highchair with her, she understood.  Then she saw Katie putting some shorts on the baby, and Makenna was very upset b/c she thought they were hers (she has the exact same pair in a bigger size, haha).

But never fear, she recovered quickly.  🙂

More Fun from the Weekend

Party Time

Well, Makenna had a wonderful birthday party, thanks to the tons of family members who were able to come.  As always, I wish I had remembered to take pictures of everyone, but of course I didn’t.  Her guests of honor included:  Grandma, Papa, Laura, Katie, Sarah, Danielle, Grammy, Baba, Kylie, Katy, Jake, Jeff, Abby, Zach…did I forget anyone?  Well, us, of course.  🙂  She received far too many presents for her own good, and loved them all.  Thank you so much everyone!!
